This, the first in the cycle, features one of the worlds greatest and best-loved classical vocalists, Jose Carreras, performing at Milans Basilica di S. Ambrogio Church, accompanied by the DellEmilia Romagna Symphonic Orchestra. Carreras performs a selection of songs of the Christmas season, as well as spiritual music from such composers as Handel, Bach, and Schubert.
